Film Production Assistant / Secretary
We are building a small pool of dependable people we can call on as productions come up. Work is offered assignment by assignment at an agreed day rate, with no obligation on either side between jobs — useful if you want film experience alongside studies or other work.
What you would be doing
- Keeping production paperwork straight — call sheets, schedules, contact lists, release forms
- Handling correspondence, diary and meeting notes for the production office
- Coordinating cast and crew logistics: travel, timings, confirmations
- Chasing and filing invoices, licences, permits and insurance documents
- Supporting the production team on shoot days when needed
What we are looking for
- Organised, fast with email and documents, comfortable in Word, Excel or Google equivalents
- Clear written and spoken English
- Calm under pressure and reliable on timings — shoot days do not wait
- Any film or TV set experience welcome, but not essential
- Right to work in the UK
Rate
Agreed per assignment, set against the requirements of the day and paid on completion. Tell us your day rate when you apply.

If you are a film or media student whose course includes a work placement, we can host a structured placement with mentoring across production, casting and post-production — a proper look at how an independent production company runs. Placements outside an accredited course are paid at National Minimum Wage or above.
