Soho Movies is the RFPI group’s independent film label — home to original short films, character-driven features and the screenplays we develop in-house.
What we do
Named after the historic heart of the London film trade, Soho Movies is where the group’s own creative slate lives. It produces director-led short films and independent features, develops original screenplays, and casts emerging talent alongside established actors. Many of the short films made through our workshops are produced under the Soho Movies banner, giving new filmmakers a professional credit on a finished film.

Soho Movies Limited is one of the RFPI group of companies founded by London-based director and producer Rajesh Rajilal. Projects often draw on several group companies at once — for example a feature produced here can use camera and lighting from Lightning Studios and casting from Maple Media UK.
